Duplicates that make you a serious fashionista
If you’re anything like me, you keep track on the latest Fendi, Dior, Chanel etc etc lines and what the new season is making them bring out next.
However not all of us have that amount of pennies in the bank, and whereas sometimes I get treated to a designer piece every now and again, I just can’t keep track on buying them all.
Although, there are some super dupes out there that do the job just fine.
Here’s a list of some favourite designer products of mine, and the cheaper alternatives.
1a/ Fendi
Double Micro Baguette
in white leather with flowers
£1780.00
What a statement piece right there! I don’t know about you but I would be a happy bunny if this lived in my house!
The leather, the FF clasp, the beautiful floral pattern, like something 3D popping out of your bag. I could go on and on, you might be best just clicking the link below and perving over it yourself.
1b/ Coach
Turnlock Saddle Bag 17 – Glovetanned Leather with Embellishment
£475.00
It’s undeniable that these are two gorgeous bags, just one costing over double more, I love the embellished detail on both, I actaully do seem to sway more towards to the Coach option, just because I love this turn lock feature with the chain following around that they have going on. (Very much like a Chloe). When I was in Coach over Christmas I was so close to purchasing one very similar to this, there were a wide range on sale, however when I’ve tried to look online they don’t seem to be there, it’s always best to go in store if you have that option anyway.
I am quickly going to mention another Coach bag as it is SO close to the Fendi one, it was only because I loved the turn-lock feature above that it won ‘1st place dupe’.
(1c/) Tea Rose Applique Bag 23 – in leather
£695.00
This has a beautiful floral pattern also like the Fendi, it’s a charming leather bag that blooms. Each of the flowers have been individually cut out to create such an amazing design. Just a tad cheaper than the Fendi though isn’t it?
2a/ Stuart Weitzman
Highland Boot
£665.00
Of course Gigi Hadid is the spokes model for these gorgeous boots!
They look perfect on her legs, so why can’t they on ours?
The Highland Boots in Black are to die for, as Stuart Weitzman says ‘The hottest boot of the season’ and I agree! These high thigh boots just ooze sexiness even if you have little legs! Wear them with leather trousers, spice things up and wear them with a beautiful pair of aztec patterned shorts or with your favourite winter jumper dress! Wow!
2b/ Aldo
Nakina over-the-knee boots
£160.00
(Sale) £79.98
I really wish Aldo wasn’t their name, it reminds me of ‘Aldi’a bit – however, their boots are pretty good. I’ve bought a lot from them in the past, many just because they are so reasonable for price. And to be honest these Nakina Boots are beautiful, I can see these matched with a pair of skinnie jeans and a beautiful mid length coat! Yum
3a/ Burberry
Fur Pom-Pom Beanie
£295.00
Probably the cutest hat I have ever owned. Cashmere wool, with a very soft and fluffy pom-pom to sit on top. I have the ivory colour however there is an option for three other colours. Black, Grey and Camel.
3b/ Popski
Anogora Pom Pom Hat
in Frost
£49.00
This is actually very similar to the Burberry style, a bit more on the whiter side compared to ivory but it still looks cute, and is quite a substantial amount cheaper. I’ve also just read that you can detach the pom pom if your not feeling the complete wintery look.
4a/ Trussardi
110mm Suede Ankle Boots
£959.61
(Sale) £575.38
Ankle Boots are my new favourite thing, they are so flattering and you can really show your personally and style through just one simple touch…the heel. I love how these Trussardi boots have that beautiful almost marble looking detail, and the burgundy colour is just so different – very autumnal. They are on sale at the moment so buy now! They definitely are a pair of boots that can be worn all year around even with the colour choice.
4b/ Topshop
MERLOT Sequin Boots
£89.00
(Sale) £50.00
The more reasonable option…Topshop embellished boots. These are sooooo jazzy and at the same time extremely floral. Your feet will look so gorgeous strutting around in these. And for £50.00 at the moment, you’re getting a bargain!
5a/ Self-Portrait
Praire Patchwork Lace Mini Dress
£393.51
Self-portrait have some absolutely gorgeous dresses! You can tell a self-portrait dress a mile off!
This navy blue ensemble is so so sooooooo beautiful, it looks like it fits like a glove, the lovely patchwork and fitted waist. Perfect for weddings, special occasions, date night, and getting dressed up on holiday.
5b/ Asos
Little Mistress Long Sleeve Lace Top Pleated Midi
£65.00
It took me a while to pick which one I wanted to choose for this dupe as there are so many lace dresses on the market at the moment. With it only being £65.00 compared to nearly £400.00, this was the winner. Still navy blue, crochet styled top, high neck and fitted around the waist. The only two differences; the material on the bottom half and it is a midi dress. This piece looks a lot more floaty and easier to wear.
