Yet another post about L’Oreal ♥

I still can’t believe that for years I used to dismiss L’Oreal products and put them in the category of  ‘crappy drugstore’ cosmetics and products that I did not want in my collection.

HOWEVER, my opinion has changed and it’s probably got a lot to do with the fact that my all time favourite YouTuber and blogger is now an ambassador for L’Oreal which has definitely swayed my thoughts on the brand.

I believe that L’Oreal is the best thing to go for when it comes to skin care and makeup without going into designer brands. Affordable and Amazing.

At one point I was so anal about only having the likes of Dior, Chanel, Shiseido, Origins, Balance Me, Benefit, YSL, Guerlain (the list goes on and on and on) in my cupboards, but recently I have branched out and given the high street drugstore products a jolly good go.

And after lots trials and tribulations, L’Oreal is definitely my winner.

It’s very high-quality products and very reasonable prices.

They are forever bringing out new products that are changing the face of skincare and cosmetics for high street products, to a point where others can’t keep up.

For example;

Fine Flowers,

Elvive – Extraordinary oils and Fibrology and

Hydra Genius.

and on Friday I came home to five new products for me to try out.

I mentioned this in my last post, (real here) and tried it out for the first time last night and woke up as a bronzed goddess (not quite) but I am pretty impressed. It was only the other day that I said I thought that Vita Liberata was my favourite self-tanning product but I think it has just been knocked off the top by this little gem.

What I like most is probably the fact that it dries within minutes of application. I coated myself in this stuff last night after a shower, I did my legs, arms, tummy, neck, face (and Cal did my back). I didn’t notice anything straight away, but I woke up this morning with clean white bedding, no streaks and a golden brown body. It says to apply for three days straight for a tan to last seven days. Also, it’s perfect for face application, no spots, no irritation and a baby brown face 🙂

2 & 3.

These two products have adapted very well to my Fibrology family. I already have the L’Oreal Fibrology Shampoo and Condition. And even though I rate them very highly they didn’t do the job just on their own till now.

After applying and rinsing the shampoo, I applied the Fibrology Thickness Booster all over my hair from roots to ends. (it says to use this once a week) I then without rinsing straight away applied the Fibrology conditioner, did my business waiting around 3 to 5 minutes and then washed everything out.

Once I had towel dried my hair I applied the Fibrology thickening mist all over my hair and brushed through. I often leave my hair to dry naturally.

So I went to watch the One Love Manchester Concert.

I’ve already got the same oil but with a red applicator, I never knew what the difference between them was, the red lidded oil is for coloured hair, whereas this oil is for heat protection. At first, I didn’t notice any difference at all. AND THEN when I applied the oil I noticed the difference in consistency. I applied this on my damp hair (after One Love Manchester) before I was about to get in bed, it smoothed through my hands all over my ends and has left my hair sooooo soft! Along with the thickening products, my hair was voluptuous and silky smooth this morning like I’ve never had it before.

I am so into facial oils at the moment, another favourite of mine is the Pixi Double Cleanser which comes with an oil to put straight over makeup. Which is exactly what this is too, I used it yesterday for the first time and instantly have fallen in love with this as well as all the above. I pumped two drops onto my fingers and gently smoothed all over my face, eyes and lips. I instantly saw my makeup is removed, I rinsed with warm water and then used my L’Oreal Fine Flowers toner to remove anything left behind.

Once again L’Oreal, you have not let me down and I will never tire from blogging about you.

Bearypie xoxo
